Kamal Sarabandi (Persian: کمال سرابندی) is an Iranian-American scientist and the Fawwaz T. Ulaby Distinguished University Professor of EECS and the Rufus S.
Teesdale endowed Professor of Engineering at the University of Michigan, where he teaches and conducts research on the science and technology of microwave and millimeter waveradarremote sensing, wireless technology, electromagneticwavepropagation and scattering, metamaterials, antennaminiaturization, and nano antennas.
Education
Sarabandi received the Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 1980, a Master of Science degree in electrical engineering in 1986, and a Master of Science degrees in applied mathematics and a Doctor of Philosophy degree in electrical engineering from The University of Michigan at Ann Arbor in 1989.
