    Liza May Minnelli (LY-zə; born March 12, 1946) is an American actress, singer, and dancer. Known for her commanding stage presence and powerful alto singing voice, Minnelli has received numerous accolades including an Academy Award, a BAFTA Award, an Emmy Award, a Golden Globe Award, and four Tony Awards.
